Another SATS Sample, Speed / Distance / Time and Angles
A few years ago I wrote a series of articles ... and they just about disappeared into the internet. To be honest I haven't any great aspirations to be a writer, although it's sometimes good to try.
And, once in a while, I get some feedback - so here's the latest:
What do you think?
Key Stage 2 (years 3 - 6)
Well done to those students who completed last weeks part of a maths paper - always pleased to mark and feedback.
The materials have proven popular, so here's questions 9 - 11. All good practice :-)
Key Stage 3 (years 7 - 9)
Speed / Distance / Time questions are sometimes called 'compound measures' - either way, quite a popular topic - particularly for calculator papers.
Key Stage 4 (years 10 - 11)
A few weeks ago, we looked at angles in parallel lines ... this time missing angles. Who knew they were lost?
Please always let me know if you need any help, thoughts, ideas, ways forward ....
Have a great week

PS. And finally ... did you know?
If a square (or any shape) and a circle have the same perimeter - the circle has a larger area.
