Converting Units & Percentage Change
I wasn’t entirely sure how to start this newsletter and, in the end, just opted to copy the original sent to 3minutemaths.co.uk subscribers. The idea is to migrate to Substack during the next few months, but I wanted to try the service first - particularly as some of the math(s) terms, while familiar to the UK, might not be used in other parts of the world.
I will try to be more universal, and am always keen to receive any ideas, thoughts or comments :-)
So, a level of normality has settled onto the YouTube account, after last week's viral video. I'm pleased to report that views have now reduced to usual levels, and engagement has increased dramatically.
Students are watching all the way through, stopping at the appropriate points, and adding likes / comments. It's all good :-)
This week it might be useful to work through some fairly common topics.

Here's the link to the post and, as always, please do let me know what you think.
Or, please add a comment to the YouTube video - definitely keeps YouTube happy.
Something a little challenging:
Repeated percentage change seems to be reasonably popular for calculator papers ...
Here's a link to the worksheet, video walkthrough and answers.
All very best

PS. If you find the videos helpful, please could I ask for a 'like' and/or a comment on the video itself?
