SATS, Circles and Walkthroughs
Amazingly, we're only around 7 weeks before SATS / GCSE national exams. These mark an important point in a students academic pathway and, quite rightly, there is a focus on revision.
Although it's interesting to see students who have been with us for some time. While they are taking their exams seriously .... they also benefit from the centre routine:
Step by step, national curriculum based
Individualised, specific, study materials
Structured feedback
Regular testing and revision opportunities
A quiet, productive, and supportive environment
Key Stage 2 (2nd to 5th Grade)
The Saturday SATS revision group is very well attended, and a HUGE thank you to our enthusiastic students. We have been working though maths, English and SPAG materials and - just to keep practicing - here's a link to a SATS quiz.
Key Stage 3 (6th to 8th Grade)
Did you know that the Latin for 'circle' is 'circulus,' which means 'little ring?'
Here's a worksheet with some popular GCSE questions.
Key Stage 4 (9th and 10th Grade)
I've been posting quite a few GCSE maths video walkthroughs to my YouTube channel ... but just haven't had the opportunity to update the 3minutemaths website.
Although, here's November 2019 Higher paper 1. Always happy to mark and feedback!
Looking forward to seeing you soon

PS. And finally, the joke of the day:
Which is the coldest triangle? An Ice-sosceles.
