SATS, Solving Equations and Rearranging
During the past few weeks I've been more involved with offering additional support to some very bright students. While all of the young people we work with are amazing, there's a few who will certainly follow a rigorous academic pathway.
Although our local schools don’t generally require an 11+ exam, many of these high achievers will apply to the ones that do. And they are brilliantly focussed on gaining a place.
So, for those who would like to be challenged, I'm pleased to offer additional materials and, as always, we're delighted to mark and feedback.
Key Stage 2 (years 3 - 6)
A huge thank you to those students who have been able to attend the Saturday SATS sessions (is that alliteration? ...).
Here's some links to the worksheets, and hope that they are useful. Year 4 - 5's are definitely welcome to work through!
Key Stage 3 (years 7 - 9)
Solving equations is a fundamental skill when dealing with all aspects of the algebra curriculum ... and they can get a little challenging.
Here's some fairly straightforward ones to get you started.
Key Stage 4 (years 10 - 11)
... and here's some more difficult questions on 'rearranging a formula.' There's only three - can you solve all of them?
Please do visit 3minutemaths.co.uk for GCSE preparation, and let me know if you need any support. There's quite a few topic tests, exam walkthroughs, questions, answers ....
Have a great week

PS. And finally .... did you know .... there are no words that rhyme with 'wolf?'
