Tricky Ratio and November Walkthroughs
Yay! One of the online magazines 'Educreate' offered to publish my post '4 top tips to get good at maths.' Absolutely delighted. Please do let me know what you think .... adding some claps (upto 50), really helps the story to be seen by a wider audience, and is very much appreciated :-)
Key Stage 2 (years 3 - 6)
The Saturday SATS class continues to perform well, and it's good to see students working hard towards some fairly challenging exams.
Many of the more difficult questions involve ratio, so here's a worksheet with some examples. Please do take your time, and always ask if you need any help.
Key Stage 3 (years 7 - 9)
GCSE or mocks are definitely top of the agenda at the moment, and we are regularly being asked for past papers.
Here's a foundation walkthrough including answers and a complete explanatory video. Idea for Key Stage 3.
Key Stage 4 (years 10 - 11)
... and here's a higher paper GCSE walkthrough. Definitely worth working through - 3 weeks to go!
Don't forget we'll support you every step of the way. Always ask. Don't stop until you get an answer.
Have a great week

PS. And finally, my favourite quote of the week:
Paul Harvey: "If there is a 50-50 chance something can go wrong, then nine times out of 10, it will."
